Daikoukai Jidai 2 AKA Uncharted Waters: New Horizons, is a fifth gen remake of the cult classic Koei game, a pseudo-historical swashbuckling RPG which takes place during the Age of Exploration. Players can choose to play one of 6 different protagonists which feature different gameplay styles and intertwining storylines. The game has updated graphics and sound compared to the original console releases, which were also sadly censored when initially released in the West. It has an excellent score by Yoko Kanno and an unprecedented amount of freedom in how you approach playing the game, where the world map is a map of the original world.
