PD1 is mostly great for the visual presentation and art merits. Level design and gameplay are OK but it doesn't really excells.
PDII Zwei is where they actually fleshed out the PD concept and polished it, with way more engaging levels, enemies and boss fights.

Any gushing/recommendations for retro rail shooters/3D Shmups/whatever you want to call them? I'm a big fan of this genre, and already like stuff like Space Harrier, Panzer Dragoon, StarFox, etc, so personally I would prefer to know more about some lesser-known titles in this genre, especially ones for the PS1. Also, of course, discuss and argue about your favorites.
