I'm looking for an ape-themed video game. Anyone have good recommendations? Aside from pic related of course.

A Monkey theme is good too.

Everytime. If you sit me down and give me the controller to play this game, I'll most likely only stop when i beat it.

Never played this trilogy back in the day. I'm emulating my way through them.

First game was bretty gud. Now about 1/4 of the way through the 2nd game, and the increase in quality is tangible. I'm becoming increasingly aware that I didn't 100% the first game, just played through casually. Should I go back and aim to 100% all 3 games or is that overkill?

Tried doing that with Mario Galaxy a while back. Green stars are a fucking scam. There's a big difference between 'full mastery of a game' and 'tedious, mindless, rewardless collecting'. Which is DKC?

Does anyone here prefer the first Donkey Kong Country to the sequel? I've never seen anyone with that opinion before because DKC2 seems to be uninanimously considered a sequel that improves on the original in every way.

I'll make this quick, my 8 year old son is a genius at math, He's at an 11th grade level, so I took him out of his school and i'm now homeschooling him, Since He knows math, We now do Video Game class and thats pretty much it, He has to research an old game then beat it..

This months game is Donkey Kong Country, He has to research the whole story, all the characters, all the names of everything, then he has to beat the game..

Got an emulator going now and hes loving it..

What should next months game be? It has to be from 1990-1997 and on the NES/SNES

I was thinking Mortal Kombat, any ideas?
