ok so after my morning shitft I went to pick up my 16 yold nephew from school because my sister's car was at the mechanic
and he asked me out of the bat while I was driving him home:
>'Uncle you know what is DOOM?'
so I was like,
>'Where did you hear about DOOM?'
(considering all he plays is Minecraft and some mobile games on his phone)
>'I saw a Boomer themed meme on the internet and the Boomer dad was playing DOOM'
so I was like
>'I see..well..DOOM is like..the best game ever made'

I'm unironically enjoying this tacticool obesity & asthma simulator mod called "Hideous Destructor" with the "ugly as sin" mutators.
Somehow I was able to make it work with the Ashes 2063 sterile maps, they get along pretty well. Also some custom oblige obbadon ones.
I heard this thing is great with BTSX, that's going to be my next campaign.

I want to reclaim all the missing vidya from my childhood. I want to play chronologically from what I would've missed as a kid. What's a good sequence of games to take me from NES -> SNES/genesis -> PS/N64 -> dreamcast?
