I can forgive everything else but WHY THE FUCK would you put IWD2 so high on the list? That game is hot garbage. Its writing is atrocious, its fights even less inspired than in IWD1, and the great atmosphere and music and environments of its predecessors are all gone. The only thing it has going for it is the third edition rules, which are much more video-gamey than second edition and thus fit the engine much better, with much fewer shortcuts needed. I do wish Icewind Gate hadn't folded.

But on the whole, IWD2 is worthless. I'd even rank it under Siege of Dragonspear.
