I could be wrong, but wouldn't this kind of electric pulse also, you know... kill us too? Kind of makes this question irrelevant. Regardless, if I could trade all of the world's electronics being fried for there being no more social media, I would gladly take that deal.

Time doesn't exist. Time is just a way that humans have of perceiving the changing form of atoms as they exist in different states within the same space. If you place an apple in front of you, then move it slightly, then move it back to the exact position it was to begin with, did the apple go back in time? No, you'd just say you moved the apple. But what if the apple represented every single atom in the universe? What if moving it represented changing the position of those atoms back to the way they were in 1998? Would we have gone back in time, or would we have simply changed the arrangement of atoms?

The point I'm making is, it's silly to wish you could go "back" to anywhere. There is no "back". The only thing separating you from living how you did in "the good old days" is you. I can still play my PS1, I can still watch the same shows I used to enjoy, I can still make the same food, I can still do whatever the fuck I want. Sure, the world around you changes, but it only impacts as you as much as you let it. The world has always sucked and it always will, it's up to YOU to carve out your own little piece of heaven. Failure to do so isn't a reflection on how the world has changed, but how you have changed.

Hey guys, I'd really like to start making maps/mods for Quake 3. What's the most user-friendly tool for a newbie to do so? I really don't know where to start.
