i finished the whole thing last year when a new update got dropped and this game feels extremely empty.

I don't know. For a game that has been greatly glorified over years among the community i expected the whole area to be a bit filled with some ammos and weapons to find. As it stands now not even the puzzles feel like you're doing a meaningful progress.

My wish for this game is for someone to actually sit on it with the intentions of an overhaul and shape it up to a full game. komizo_lab is a pretty talented modder who turned Resident Evil 3 into a crazy definitive edition with incredible additions. I don't think doing something similar with 1.5 is impossible at all.
