/fa/ taught me: dressing well > dressing unique

I'm glad that through long trial and error and introspection I found out that dressing unique or at least unusual is more important to me. Dressing well is so ridiculously easy and so boring, I've even begun to appreciate people who are unaware of how they dress, for their sincerity.

Dressing "well" is the equivalent of playing Next-Gen regeneration shooters is the equivalent of listening to pop is the equivalent of eating a chicken sandwich.

Your looking down on or rolling your eyes at someone who wears an obnoxious shirt.. is the average casual gamer playing nice and tidy games who frowns in incomprehension when you're playing something retro.

It's very sad that most people only think outside of the box in one or two areas of life while adhering to the established standards in all other areas of life.

This is one of the only few virtues the true hipster has: he usually strives for eccentricity and unusualness in many areas of life, often unfortunately to the extent that it becomes a contest or mere show.
