Let's be honest, the powerups in SMB3 aren't that amazing when you look into them.

Tenooki suit and P-wing are just variants of the leaf. The don't offer significantly different gameplay.
Hammersuit is an upgraded fireflower variant.
It boils down to flying and shooty powerups. They are fun and welcome, but not exactly innovative the way Yoshi was.

And fuck the shoe! It's fun, but it's only in one level.

Also both games are great. Fuck this thread.
