The last petition from Operation Hero got SE to localized Dragon Quest 7 and 8 for the 3DS and Heroes and Builders.
Let's get SE to localized Dragon Quest 11 when it comes out sometime next year.

VII is VERY VERY VERY long, it will probably take 120 hours to complete. I recommend waiting for 3ds version, from my understanding it cuts a lot of the bullshit of the ps1 version, in the ps1 version you don't fight your first slime until like 4-5 hours in where in the 3ds version I heard it's now only like a hour. I recommend going to III or V now, those and VIII are considered the best of the series. My personal favorite is IV and I highly recommend that one aswell. The game's connections are loose enough that really you should just look into each game and play what sounds the most in your taste.

Some hate the ds version for its questionable translation so it depends. I'm hoping someday we get a retranslation as that one is my favorite and the ds version is the best version.

Anyone else feel that IV deserves a remake? Every English release has had some kind of flaw, we need a true version with updated graphics, a proper retranslation, and party chat.

How is the NES translation of IV? I've only played the DS version, the accents never bothered me, but I've heard the NES translation is very accurate. Also I've never played the NES version as I always thought the AI controlled party memebers would make the gameplay worse and much less involving, thoughts?
