I don't really see how it's different from anything else. Should a racing game not also have some steep learning curves? Most of the ones I loved did.

Anyway, I forget the version but when they added military planes to Flight Simulator and made some dog fighting missions, holy shit I have never played a more challenging and complicated game. And I was pretty good by that point with regular flight.

Too add a more typical one though, later missions in Arctic Fox got brutal.

Opinions. I always liked big environments and love open world games. I always preferred Simon's Quest to CV 1 or 3 for example. Not saying you should agree, but that's why open world games get made so much now, people like them.

Yeah consider that when this was out the NES was just getting Dragon Warrior and Castlevania 1.

Arctic Fox isn't obscure over all but few people here seem to have played it. Early 3D open area tank combat. Challenging but a lot of fun.

And not a one that had played Arctic Fox. Even common stuff like Zaxxon or Spyhunter is kinda rare. Most dudes here are primarily into consoles..
