Snake didn't know, though. That being said OP is a faggot and smoking isn't as bad for you as everyone makes it out to be, just makes you smell bad. If you're a perfectly healthy person, or some genetic freak super soldier like Snake, then smoking isn't going to really do anything to you.

Yeah but trying to charge in the middle of any of the boss fights in a pain in the ass, missiles work fine as long as you actually bothered to acquire enough and and aren't being trigger happy like >>6402783 said. I save the charge shots for the end if I'm short on ammo.

Yeah, it wasn't that it was competing with already superior consoles so much as people knew those consoles were coming and weren't really enthused about a turbochaged 8-bit system.

Still, I thought it was actually a really great console that just had bad timing. I had one and it had a lot of good exclusives, was just as much fun as the NES was.

Lets not get all doom and gloom yet. You may be correct, but we would still like generous hacked-switch anon to check.

A couple thoughts:

>I would think you buy the hardware for the sake of owning the hardware, not keeping game itself from seeing the light of day
>that said, it's kind of a unique situation since usually owning an old cabinet doesn't give you any kind of exclusivity anyway
>the technician was trying to be egalitarian but still, he took the guy's money and then did something he knew the owner probably didn't want him to do which devalued his investment. That's pretty fucked up and unprofessional
>nobody wants to see games lost to time but a lot of fringe stuff is probably already gone and nobody gives a shit because it wasn't worth knowing about, rarity makes a game collectible but not better. If nobody got this ROM out it wouldn't really matter, which again makes me feel like the tech was kind of a dick for stealing it. Not like the dude was hiding an underappreciated classic from everybody

It's like this:

>save your game when you have 100% health
>if you get hit, push the reset button
>load game
>you now have 100% health again

Dragon's lair is at least a classic. Must-play status might depend on what you consider essential but given that it's one of the more iconic arcade games of all time I'd think most /vr wonks would recommend playing it once just for the experience

Lmao, imagine being such a butthurt low-functioning autist that you can't even fire up two working brain cells to try backing up your claims.

>a game that's contingent on reflexes and muscle integrity
If you mean shit like Dark Souls with mindlessly memorizing enemy movesets after hours of grinding then no thank you.

I personally am a fan of Witcher 3, but even that is button mashing at some point even on Blood March (or whatever the hardest difficulty is called) and under leveled. With strategy games, there's some serious planning that needs to be done to take on the hardest super bosses (i.e. Ultima Weapon in FF8).

There's something called "strategy" that some people enjoy, things that require planning and managing and patience. This can be brought down with some JRPGs (i.e. FF4 >>3819420) where there's much less time to react and you need to be ready to make quick selections and decisions.

I'm a fan of Brutal Doom, MGS5, TW3, older FFs (Haven't beaten 15 yet), and even some CnC/Civ. Branch out some more instesd of shitposting on an imageboard claiming your one purely subjective narrow POV is superior to other people's purely subjective narrow POV.
