There are two.

One's mostly obscured.

A Commodore 1942 monitor, which is on top of a PVM-20L5 which I am in the middle of replacing the deflection yoke on.

The 20L5 isn't in great shape (really worn down phosphors) but it's ok i guess. The Commodore's fantastic but I need to order a couple trimmer potentiometers to replace broken ones on the main board.

my parents still have a 50" panasonic plasma from 2008. It still looks lovely. I remember being pleased with how relatively not-shit it was when I hooked it up to S-Video from a modded genesis and composite from a modded famicom. It still had the interlacing artifacts on 60hz flashing things, but apart from that it looked superb. I hope they don't junk it anytime soon. Or if they do that 'junk it' means they give it to me.
I have had BVM's with well over 60K hours, btw. Rated life != actual life. They looked dim, of course, but SMPTE-C already is dim to start so I didn't mind much. I don't really love high-TVL screens except for 480p and higher though.

Don't fall for the trinitron meme either. Sure, they're fine if the price is right and the condition's good, but so are any number of non-trinitrons. You're just artificially limiting yourself by falling for a meme while laughing at people who fall for another related meme.

>t. I don't know anything about CRTs but heard trinitrons are the best so I bought the first set that said "trinitron" on it

>VGA CRT's can't have them
Most won't, some can.
But if you're using 480p modes, yeah, you aren't gonna see them because the "scan lines" in 240p are technically a defect caused by using tubes meant for 480i.
