My point was, unlike DrakenNier to a degree, you DIDN'T HAVE to play each game in the franchise to keep up with what was going on.
Also I'd find it odd someone would expect CoM to be a throwaway, since from what I remember from the commercials and trailers it was clearly a sequel, though without the "2" in the title and it being on GBA I can see that.
I can't think of a series with varying titles that lead into one another at the time other than .Hack//(TITLE).

While I'm on about the missiles, often times it's a good idea to be Auto Locked-on to bosses when missiles are present so you don't have to manually aim the cursor to where you want the missiles to go before hitting them. Of course the trade off is doing piss damage with regular shots, but you're guaranteed to land projectiles. Something something it lowers the skill floor while also raising the skill ceiling. Also play the game using a Tribute 64 already, it's much better. Trust me.

I have a corded Tribute and assuming both control sticks are the same, just be aware it'll be a bit more sensitive/loose than other control sticks--not flopping around loose, just not a lot of resistance when pushing it, unless that's not a problem for you.
