I think it looks fantastic but I can understand personal preference here. I'm playing FFVII for the first time with these mods so I have no nostalgia to the finer details of the original game

Don't the original blockman models look clunky in movement as well?

Using reshade to add some subtle scanlines help the upscaled textures look more natural in gameplay as well.
