I'd like to reverse OP's premise and say that Rockin' Kats would have made an excellent Saturday morning cartoon.

Inversely, this game would have made a PRIME SatAM cartoon circa 1989.

File this one as a rare treat. Great, lesser known title that also is legitimately uncommon... and rather pricey.

Game is 50s as fuck.

I've always thought this game was prime Saturday morning cartoon fodder.

You might be able to get an interesting movie or something out of Illusion of Gaia simply because of the reversal where light is a force of evil and darkness is the force of good.

Anyway, I also think Rockin' Kats would be good fodder for a Saturday morning cartoon show.

Probably the Bomber in Rockin' Cats.

I mean, I'd rather trust my ability to just hit something with the default glove than waste time lining up an enemy so that it gets hit by the dropped bomb.

Is this game talked about at all here?
What's the consensus?

I feel there are some good concepts but as always for NES, execution is dodgy.
Can't blame it, though.

Put getting this game on the backburner and before I knew it, it was 60 goddamn dollars.

Rockin' Katz. So much potential for a show about a 30's detective cat with fun gadgets squaring off against his dog gangster nemesis week upon week.
