A new guide is up! Sega Saturn Teardown:
http://retroconsoles.wikia.com/wiki/Sega_Saturn_Teardown

I've added some info to the front page to try to get the point of the wiki across to people who aren't already involved. The main points:
- Every console, computer, or electronic gaming device, however new or old, is allowed, although for computers I really only mean ones like the C64 or Amiga (old gaming computers basically).

- You can edit or rewrite guides written by other people, and in fact this is encouraged if you can add useful info! I'm tentatively calling this the "nothing is sacred" policy. I'm hoping this will prevent a future build-up of poorly written but badly needed guides that no one wants to fix because they're worried about the ego of the author. Guides will be treated like any other page of the wiki - they are open to everyone and should contain detailed, accurate information.

Oh hell yes, service manuals are like gold. I have the Colecovision service manual already and some docs for the 2600 and Saturn. Someday when the site is post-Wikia, I hope to host all these documents, pending legal intervention of course. For now, if anyone has a service guide that can't be found online, please email it to me, and I'll hold onto it for the eventual move to paid hosting.

Definitely. I don't even remember what that is, but yes!

So I'm trying to decide on what to do next, maybe some power supply stuff or a controller cleaning guide. Here's some of the more exotic stuff I have if anyone want to make a request for pics:
- Two Coleco Visions (different motherboards)
- Expansion Modules 1&2 for the Coleco (Atari 2600 add-on and steering wheel)
-Sega Saturn lightgun
-Interact brand lightgun for Dreamcast
-Namco lightgun for PS1
-Fishing rod for DC
-Steel Battalion controller for Xbox (I've actually replaced a few LEDs in it already)
