They're both very disorganized people.

My mom has no sense of money and my dad can't be bothered to clean up any mess my younger brothers and sister makes. Food crumbs, toys, dog and cat fur, spills, stains, dishes, you name it and it was everywhere in the old house.

They also don't have any sense of personal property.
