Hey /vr/, /v/fag here. Please excuse my ignorance on a lot of this stuff but I have a few questions and you are the anons to be asking.

So for years I've been playing NES and SNES games on less than optimal platforms and screens; digital versions on the Wii, PSVita, etc. Recently I ordered a SNES and a few games and I want to buy a CRT monitor to go with them. The problem is, I'm not 100% where to find the kind of monitor I need, and whether or not a whole bunch of factors might be an issue.

-First off, I'd appreciate some recs on monitors and where to pick them up, thanks!

-Secondly, assuming I have a CRT with an RGB comparable SCART, will I be able to feed the cable directly from the SNES (P.A.L by the way) into my monitor? (I'm asking because I don't have my SNES yet so I don't know the outputs)

-Do all CRT monitors use scan lines?

-What display resolution do you recommend for SNES games?

Thats pretty much it, again, sorry for being a /v/pleb.
