Played this by burning discs and using it with my saturn. It's pretty good, not as good as ff7 I found, but definetly is one of the better titles on the system.

It's a fun game but I feel like a lot of the hype for it seems to be the unobtanium/mystery appeal surrounding it. Otherwise it's a decent but somewhat short rpg.

Policenauts and Snatcher are two of my favorite games, but I think a lot of people only like them now because they have Kojima's name on them.

If we're talking about the West, you're right that Snatcher wasn't widely accepted, but it really had no chance since it was a 1994 Sega CD release. Jeremy Blaustein, the localization lead, said that Snatcher only sold "a couple of thousand" copies in the US and Canada.
