I usually see a lot of times people asking which of these two is better for some retro gaming on the go.
Instead of the usual wars, let's see objectively what each portable does and does not.

PSP 3000:
>Besides playing its obvious exclusives
>Best PSX portable emulation
>Average to subpar SNES emulation
>Average to playable Wonderswan color PC Engine
>Perfect GB, GBC, Game Gear, GBA, CPS1, CPS2 and Neo Geo.

Does not/not worth trying/Cons:
>N64 and DS.
>By this day and age the batteries are lasting less and less
>PSP Go is uncomfortable if you have normal-sized hands.

New 2DS XL:

>Besides it's obvious exclusives
>DS but not retro
>Perfect GB, GBC, GBA, Game Gear, Genesis, SNES. PC Engine, possible Wonderswan.
>Injects
>Can create icons for specific games for the menu so they can look nice
>New XL models have two extra buttons which some emulators take into account
>Screen is nice
>Comfy
>New 2DS XL has a nice black variant and aesthetics

Doesn't run/don't bother/cons:
>PSX (not even playable)
>N64
>"Harder" to hack compared to the PSP

Please feel free to add or correct, everything is based on my own personal experience with both.
I've decided each covers different needs and if you have both, you don't need to defend one over another.
If you HAVE to pick one, this may be the thread for you.
