The proportions on the Feisar, with the long nose are reminiscent of either early GP cars or sports cars like Jag E-Types and 250 GTOs.
The pirhana has more "weight" up front, and looks more reminiscent of a mid engine sports car, with the cockpit sitting in the middle.

It's weird. I do enjoy them but they feel more like sports titles rather than /vroom/ games. For what it's worth we occasionally discuss the Microprose GP games.
I enjoy replaying that and F1 2004 once in a while
