>exaggerating for effect
That's exactly what I meant when I said you're lazily crying and seething about the timing being wrong, you're being a melodramatic faggot because you can't accept your hubris is the problem. You refuse to accept you can't emulate the game without introducing additional delay.
>you keep hearing sounds just ever so slightly ahead of the rhythm and it fucks you up.
You were complaining about the sounds being late. The fact you can't keep your story straight means you've tacitly conceded the point, the conversation is now over, so let's wrap things up here.
>how it is possible for a player to hit the button in time with the music and have it register correctly and yet somehow have a latency problem?
>>Because you're emulating it. By insisting this isn't the problem to yourself, you became blind to the fact of the matter. You're the problem, because you suck.
Newfag.

>He thinks because it has "fight" in the name that it can only be used with fighting games
Correction: I meant Divekick earlier. Thanks for allowing the opportunity to correct myself.
Last time I checked, it was said they abandoned the design. They didn't, because it works.
Then it was said that no games need that many buttons, and then...

Suddenly it's not enough buttons. Make up your minds. Also

>native Genesis games were universally built for the three button pad.
>it's generally considered bad practice to break compatibility with controllers for the sake of fulfilling the arbitrary criteria of some posturing sad sack decades in the future
you tacitly agreed with me kek

I agree with you however to elucidate further circle means miru (which is literally the symbol O) and cross means batsu (which is literally the symbol X), these became "correct" and "incorrect" through their usage in the educational system where it was used to denote correct and incorrect answers. It's a distinctly Japanese interpretation and it was merely a shitty coincidence that X became confirm because it just so happened to be where A usually was on the Xbox gamepads (as you noted yourself).
