I've been playing this from a burned copy on a chipped Saturn. The graphics are pretty impressive for the hardware. Anyone else get the chance to check it out?

Panzer Dragoon Saga, just got to disc 3 last night. Will probably take me another week or 2 to finish.

Never played many Saturn games, but as this game frequently gets high praise here I decided to give it a go.
Game has been really great so far, and I agree that if it was on PSX or N64 it would be a 'must play' for those systems.

The most interesting thing about it is that it is on the Saturn. If it were on PS1, no one would care.

Is there any other game that radiates the same aura that Panzer Dragoon Saga does? Just finished it on my Saturn, and I have to say that nothing I've played really "felt" like it. The HUDless UI while walking around towns, the comfiest campsites, the music, the odd dialogue, the evolution/growth of the dragon/MC - it was truly a unique experience and I need more like it

Why can't they just remake it? Surely Sega will realize what a potential moneymaker they have on their hands.

So this is really considered one of the greats in the JRPG genre? Because I remember it being just okay, lower end of good, but then I don't like JRPGs.

Will the Japanese version work on an American Saturn if I use an action replay? I’ve heard that it will, but I’ve also heard that it only works on disc 1 and not the other 3.

Just finished this and fuck, it truly is the greatest game of all time.

Is there anyway to emulate this? I can't find a decent saturn emulator while the roms exist.

Even if there isn't, is there anyway to make my own copy of the game since sega lost the source code and the game is a collector item making it hard to find outside of the US for a reasonable price.

I only look down on the n64 because despite the number of truly amazing games, the system is a fucking headache. I think the Saturn's highs are so incredibly high that both the PS1 and N64 pale in comparison. But, just because I love my favorite system does not mean I hate the others.

Can anyone out there hep me get some saturn emu going? Been wanting to play pic related for years.. I finally have a decent enough laptop to do it i think.. Best program? site for ISO/ROM? help me out my dudes..

Has anyone even been able to successfully emulate this game? Is there any way to play it other than buying it? I know its supposed to be a great game but it is so goddamn expensive
