Doom is a terrible game. The later levels demand that you save your game every 5 seconds, or else you get killed right away since your health doesn't auto regenerate, and then you have to start the level all over again with no weapons, ammo or upgrades at all. Had this arbitrary limitation not been in place, it would be an excellent game, worthy of the title of a classic.
