/vr/ - Retro Games

While playing Super Mario RPG, pic related stood-out to me, as it's easily the closest (that I can remember anyway) a Mario game has come to imply that shit DOES happen in this series of games. Mario as a whole is devoid of any scatological humor, despite the Japanese showcasing their enjoyment of taking the "piss" out of shit when it comes to either anthropomorphizing it, turning it into a punch line, or making it cute and glittery

I looked on the Mario wiki to see if anyone else was thinking/cataloging this same thought, and found nothing, despite Wikia as a whole being a haven for OCD observations regarding taboo subjects in otherwise PG-13 settings, such as the following

Anyway, I'm kicking-around the idea of making an entry on the Mario wiki that'll hopefully kickstart the discussion, but beyond pic related, I can't remember any other times a game or related media have conveyed the concept of feces. The closest I can think of is when Yoshi eats a fuzzy, he farts out the remnants (which could be a whole other series of implications, as the drug term of "plugging" could exist in-universe, given the exit point, AND the fact he still gets dizzy), so gas will probably be a subcategory, given it's relation to defecation
