Which do you like better, Super Mario Bros 3 or Super Mario World? And I don't wanna hear anything like "Super Mario Bros 3 was revolutionary when it came out", I'm talking about which game stood the test of time better.
Pic Related, my response. Longer levels, better graphics, save function, spooky ghost castles, Yoshi, this game had everything!

Just found something weird, but I haven't fully experimented yet. Thought someone here might like to try it out.

You know that glitch where you can make all the colors of the game freak on on chocolate island, by having the camera scroll incorrectly at the end of the stage? Well I may have just found something similar, but I don't have the patience to thoroughly test it out.

In the secret donut ghost house, (the first SECRET ghost house in the game; the one where you can fight the giant ghost) rather than pressing the "P" switch, you can throw the P switch upward, spin jump, catch it, and ride a ghost using the spin jump up to the platform where you'd normally go in to fight the big ghost boss.

When you ride the ghost to the platform though, you won't be able to see where the door is, and that's my problem. I don't feel like restarting the level over and over again to see if you can get through the door, and the glitch might not even work. But theoretically it may do something weird like make all the colors freak out when you enter the door.

This was my first game. Maybe. That, or Mortal Combat on the SNES. My early vidya memories involved me watching my dad and older cousins getting farther than me.

Am I alone in hating the game feel in SMW?

All together it has the best overall level design and things like Yoshi and the spin jump are fantastic, but the way Mario controls feels slow, stagnant, and fucking annoying. I wish it played like Mario 3.

Thoughts?
