it aired on a kid's network and was mostly aimed at kids but if it includes adult humour then obviously kid's are not exclusively the target audience for the show. regular show aired on a kid's network too and was marketed as a kid's show but was full of stuff that was targeted at people who grew up in the 80s.
invader zim was a "kid's show" but do you really think jhonen vasquez was thinking about how he could appeal to kids, or was he just making the show he wanted to make within the restrictions that nickelodeon put on him.

many shows and games don't fit into narrow definitions like "kid's show" or "adult show" except for things that are very obviously targeting a specific age group exclusively (teletubbies for example).
