It's by far best in a group which is truenfir all brawlers but especially GH. By the end chunk of the game you'll be beefed up enough it's just total chaos, fireballs and lightning bolts, energy beams flying every which way, it's a blast. The only downside is that long unskippable cut scene in the middle. There's a non retro spiritual successor which isn't as good but is still pretty fun.

That's correct, I never regretted buying it for a second. You might not be as into games and that's fine but I loved my Saturn and Playstation both. It's a weird thing to try and troll someone over from my perspective lol.

The first time I saw GH the pixels were jarring, but it quickly grew on me just because of how much fun the game is. I also like the art style though. It's pretty funny to take the characters who can move between planes in the arena and move them super close so there's just 2 or 3 huge pixels on the screen.

The dreaded progress system works well because there isn't really any grinding, it just lets you decide how your character gets more powerful and what play style you want as you go on and it's balanced well with what you fight.

I will say this though, it's way way better in co-op. It feels like a party game.

It's kind of a slog going through in single player, but with friends it makes for an awesome party game. Especially with the arena.

Guardian Heroes is pretty good single player, but incredible fun with friends.
