out of all the copies that were made, besides faulty units and breaking from over use or negelct... we also have to account for all the times video were thrown out and wasted like this. thats alot of stuff just trashed in these pictures, then there are the people who post videos of them breaking meme things like retro video just to watch the world burn!

there was a time around 2000-ish that retro video games were basically garbage and sold for pennies on the dollar. I think alot of mass trashing of collections and what not met the same fate. that begs the question, do we over calculate the amount of things that have survived? what if there is half the number of things left then there was during production?
