Doesn't this mean it says nothing, and it's just a pixel jumble, a quick brush tool scribble - a random arrangement of pixels that APPEARS to say something because of bilinear filtering?

Which sounds obvious now, but wasn't obvious to people in 1996 because people weren't used to how 3D graphics worked, and when people saw a mysterious writing in 2D games it usually was an easter egg left by the developer (as opposed to today, where illegible textures on posters and newspapers are the norm)?
