I might have had this controller before the Logitech controller. One of my friends had it and I borrowed it from him. It was terrible. I think I didn't get an actual controller until 2002.

It's gonna suck. If one of many of nintendo's contemporaries made a similar product, it could be so much better.

Capcom, EA, Taito, Apogee, etc, maybe they'd just have to be a little open and include some titles from one/some of their peers. A side scrolling shooter expanded to 16:9 aspect ratio could be particularly neat.

And unlike things like those esoteric, quirky nintendo CPUs, light x86 chips are widely available, and intel quarks are quite cheap.

And if they made one that used a joystick, it would actually have an obvious unique characteristic going for it, a distinction over emulated downloadables for consoles
