Just started playing WerDragon from Arsys. The cover doesn't quite reflect the game's setting (post-apocalyptic sci-fi city with monsters running amok), but maybe it's supposed to show what the city looks like after the battle is won, all Giger-esque and deformed.

Game itself plays better than I expected, even with rushed brute-force parallax scrolling and resultant hit detection issues. Music's great, the bosses are short but sweet, just not sure it would have been worth its MSRP in '89. I'm hopeful this one's the worst game from Arsys if that means WiBARM and the other stuff play better.
