Pretty much all PAL systems are the same as either the Japanese release or the US release, but with a better colour scheme, in my opinion.
Half the time I like the PAL variant more, and half the time I think the Japanese model looks the best (pic related). I don't care much for most of the US specific designs. They're fucking ugly.

How a system looks is really important to me, because I collect systems more than I do games.
