Well, Japan is known for being "inspired" by Western properties.

>Trying to turn tabletop RPGs into video games has always been a dumb idea, because the one thing that makes pnp rpgs good is that they have a real human running the game.
CRPG's stands for Computer Roleplaying Games. It has nothing to do with tabletop RPG's.

>Hence why there's always some stupid useless mechanic in CRPGs like swimming in Deus Ex or outdoorsman in Fallout.
Those are exploration skills. They're only useless to you because you don't like exploration. Hence, you're a retard.

>Not to mention they look completely unappealing and ugly because western developers are obsessed with "realism". Deus Ex looks like a nightmare reality of compressed jpeg stock photos.
They look a lot more appealing than your tranny simulators you're so fond of where you play as repressed-homosexual-teenager #1573734

>Compare to early japanese 3D games - colorful and stylish.
Gay and garish, while completely aping their style off of western influences.

>Japanese game devs design their games meticulously. Western devs just copy - copy mechanics from tabletop RPGs, copy graphics from stock photos.
Mario 64 literally took stock photos and pasted them into the textures and skyboxes. They also literally just copy-paste their mechanics from game to game. Here, this image should be quite informative for you.

The composer from Nintendo also straight up copied songs or used samples for everything. I think half of OOTs sound track is just samples. The forest temples theme is basically 2 different samples slowed down, and he uses the same samples in the water temple but speeds them up. He did this shit all the way back to the NES mario days. The main theme was stolen from a Japanese band and the underground theme was stolen from Deep Purple.

Basically: Great artists steal.
