Phalanx was awesome. It made the game totally stand out.

Games with amazing art in game and terrible boxes always made me sad.

That's nice that your tastes are so limited. But some of us like other games as well, saturn was amazing especially for shmups and fighters, but also a lot of other stuff. Virtual On is pretty damn fantastic, but I wouldn't put it in the top 5 saturn games, probably not even the top 10.

Guardian Heroes is best of all time in my opinion. Me and my buddies would waste whole days playing just that game. The main game is fantastic with so many branching paths and endings, we could play through it 2-3 times in a day easily. Then being able to set up custom arenas with every sprite from the game from a skeleton to a villager to a god to a bee all being playable was just too damn fun.

Me and my buddy played through Guardian Heroes dozens and dozens of times, and wasted many afternoons in the arena. It's easily one of my favorite games of all time. And yet, it's not even my favorite Treasure game.
