There are quite a few games on the Nes that are great, most notably the Dragon Warrior series and Crystalis. Also, the Capcom Disney games are outstanding for platformers. However the Wii and/or a pc works great for emulation, and provides much better clarity. My Wii replaced a Nes, Snes & a Genesis because of its capabilities. They all live in a plastic tote in my attic.

There is more than a handful, but not much more. Nes was a great system, and still is. It is also very easy for even a toaster to emulate well, which makes it nearly pointless to have one plugged in.
