Got this Sony KV-27FS12 from my dad as a birthday present. He knew I had been looking for a CRT for a while and I guess he just found this online or something, came with the original remote too.
It's a flat screen but I'm not too anal about that and aside from a little bit of screen sag in the center, it's in almost perfect condition. Got my PS2 and SNES hooked up with component and s-video respectively. Even got to the service menu and toned the shit out of the settings.
Got 3 modes now that I use depending on what I'm doing. Max sharp setting for 6th gen and on stuff, zero sharp for anything prior, then for tv and anime I put the slider somewhere in the middle. Wish my camera could capture the screen a little better, but honestly, I'm loving this thing.
Any hot tips for getting the best value I can out of this thing?
