Cave Noire for the original Game Boy. It's a great little roguelike where you have to avoid monsters and collect lots of treasure.

I like it a lot; you can even play it without knowing japanese, but there's an english patch.

It's a great game, the only roguelike for the Game Boy. You don't need to read anything since it's all the menus just involve pictures and are in english.

It's all about avoiding those monsters.

I love Cave Noire on the Game Boy, it's a completely original take on roguelike RPG's.

There's even a translation patch if you'd like, just go play it because it needs more love.
