It really wasn't a big deal though.
They just changed it from Nintendo Ultra 64 to just Nintendo 64.
For years, magazines kept using "NU64" sometimes though, kinda like the "PSX".

Saturn is my favorite console name.
It's just so unexpectedly cool, just like the console itself.

I love Shigesato Itoi and his Mother games, but I just wish he would have kept the "Ultra 64" name instead of just calling it Nintendo 64 for simplicity or minimalism's sake.
