This one's pretty well known, but there are fully functioning Arwing models in OoT.

I hear Wind Waker had a lot of cut content, including full dungeons, which I feel could've helped the game immensely.

I'm looking for archetypal fantasy action-adventure and/or role-playing games. What are your favorites?

I'm personally very fond of the simple Zelda-esque save the girl/save the world structure, with open fields and exploration.
