I've always been attracted to wads with "twilight" skyboxes. Honestly, I thought it was because they were such an odd color. But just as I was starting up that wad there, I opened up the blinds in my bedroom. I mean, I'm looking at this blood red sun right now, with the music from game and shit, and it hit me.

It reminds me of my youth.

It reminds me when I went down to the lake for the day, and didn't come home until the sunburn made me as red as a chilli pepper.

It reminds me of when I'd play silly little games with my older sister.

It reminds me of when my family would hike out to our little firepit in our backyard and told stories and roasted marshmallows until after midnight.

It... it just reminds me of my first home.
