Heres another example of the game not giving you any clear clues and misleading you into losing time, and cutting the flow of the game in an extreme annoying way:

somewhere at the beginning of cd3 Edea sends you to search for the white boat (that can be anywhere in the world, Squal even says something on the bridge of the ship/garden "We have to find the ship", so you'd excpect that's what you have to do... No, if you search for the ship you'll never find it, becuase you haven't triggered it's appearance. So... you bump into Quistis which is on the bridge of the ship/garden, hit the button and she says "Is Rinoa in the infirmary? I'll go check on her later" <<< that shit right there was top priority to trigger the ship appearance??? NO! it was to trigger another goofy Laguna scene, goofy music and all. So after having you search, for perhaps hours, for a ship after Edea told you to look for a ship, Squall said he was going to look for a ship, you missed that stupid "mega" clue that, before the ship appeared on the map you had to go see Rinoa to trigger a Laguna scene, then you had to talk to fucking Edea once again before looking for the ship, only this time she was going to give a fucking letter to take to the ship, all this after after the Laguna scene!! THEN the ship appears on the map, somewhere in between some fucking islands in the Centra continent.
