I don't give a shit about the fishing game and I will never play it. I have not played most of the games I've hacked and I don't personally care for most of the games I hack to completion.
ROM hacking and reverse engineering is a fun and a challenging hobby, and I feel a sense of accomplishment and pride when I get a job well done. Pointers optimised, great translated title/graphics art, etc.

If someone wants to play a fishing rpg for whatever reason, I can rest easy and feel happy knowing that someone who doesn't speak japanese can now do it.
Only zoomers with unwarranted self-importance could only think about Patreon tier incentives to actually be a part of this niche.
