Honestly I still think this thing looks cool as shit. I wish some company would make a modern version that actually worked. Although nowadays itd have a different problem of having to support too many games with too many inputs.

The shittiest of shit controllers. People recognized it as a significant piece of vidya history and were still giving theirs away. It didn't even deserve to be stuffed in a box and stored in a dark corner. It was so bad that people didn't want it in their houses.

So why is the Power Glove supposed to be such an iconic NES peripheral?

It wasn't made by Nintendo.

It didn't sell very well.

The only cameo it had was on a movie that nobody cared about, even when it debuted.

So why is it considered so iconic?
