I'm gonna bump this thread just to say that everything (Except the stuff related to the Dendy/Steepler company) stated in Dendy chronicles happened in Argentina.
Everything.
I played Super Mario 6, 14, Pizza Pop Mario and Mc Mario like they were original games for my Famicom.
I was one of the only kids who luckily got an original version of the console (Not a "Polystation" or whatever clone), the model with the controls bound behind... in '92.
Hell I also have that exactly pirate cart with 64 games in 1 (The one with "Pipeline" in it) in my desk drawer.
In fact we always thought Super Mario Bros was actually Mario Bros 2 because the title in the list is just "Bros II." as you can see in pic related.
Also the Brick game is one of the most famous things ever here, I had like 3 of them.
So this is not a "Russia only" thing.
