Shipping to the USA would have probably made it too costly for me. Looks like it would have been at least $130USD. A shame, as I do like the OSSC, but it was my fault for never getting the DVDO scaler when it was readily available through amazon, but of course I had no clue a device like the OSSC would come along and I would need the scaler.

I still want the cables, just cannot afford them at the price the creators are asking for them just for pure curiosity. I understand it was probably a lot of work to find balanced setting for various models of systems and reencode to the YPbPr colour space. So given the limited audience of people playing on old systems, the creators still would like to earn something back for their work and priced accordingly with the limited supply. I do not foresee the price dropping. It may also not be worth the cost for some Chinese company to reverse engineer the cables to sell at a lower cost to the small finite crowd that want better than component but did not go RGB which has not already bought the cables already.

No! I am glad I found this thread. I remove that silver void rental stickers with the same isopropyl alcohol you would use when you clean the pins. I think the goo gone may have a chance of melting the plastic. A friend told me goo gone messed up a controller that way and I have seen it do the same to another plastic item. I promise you the alcohol will work, as I have done it, just make sure not to get any of the alcohol on any labels.

I recently piced up some magazines and the OSSC. I have being poor, but it is all I got. I still got to get my friend something amazing for his birthday and Christmas because he gave me his old NeoGeo Pocket Color with a couple of amazing games.

I too am interested in $5 repros. I don't want to spend the $35-40 when I have a dedicated emulation computer, but $5 is a sweet spot for bootleg Wild Guns, Undeadline, Wily Wars, etc.
