Thoughts on the Startropics games?

Fuck this game to death. I've beaten shittons of difficult and near-impossible games but this game is an epitome of unfair bullshittery, unfairly broken controls and mechanics, unfair difficulty spikes and design choices. And it's like, you think this game might be ultimately enjoyable because of the name and the cover art, I mean what can go wrong with space and tropics combined? Well maybe just the fact that 90% of the game takes place in fucking dungeons that have nothing to do with tropics. I've made it to chapter 6 or 7 and gave up. Fuck Startropics and anyone recommending it.
