Did they increase the deadliness of the grenade launcher in Quake 1.5? I swear in vanilla I could tank a lot of the splash damage received when accidentally standing too close to an enemy that was direct impacted, but in 1.5 the radius seems to be much bigger and the damage wipes out half your health in an instant.
