The brightness is actually very good. Definitely not as bright at max as the fucking RP3+ at max, but also definitely brighter than the RG505 at max. I think a good approximation is the Steam Deck's max brightness, it's dead on side-by-side. I know the Deck gets a lot of shit for its screen, much of it deserved, but its brightness is actually one thing it excels at and even beats the Rog Ally's screen in.

I'm really hoping lad, it's definitely the biggest flaw atm. Also it looks like GammaOS on this might become a reality sooner than later.
